Thrashers Pre Season game!

I couldn’t be more excited about the up coming NHL season and it sort of starts tonight. Even though training camp just opened last weekend, there is a pre season game tonight here in Atlanta. The Thrashers will be taking on the Columbus Bluejacket down at Blueland. This will be a game where the coaching staff will be experimenting with different lines and defensive parings to see which guys work well together. This will be a good chance for the new coaching staff to evaluate the players. Speaking of the players, this is a totally different team than last year with only a handful of guys on the roster this year that were on the team last year. Change is good and these changes to the team are going to be great! I am looking forward to a more competitive season and playoff appearance this season. Maybe I am just being optimistic, but I truly feel like this team is the best team the franchise has ever put on the ice. With all of the trades and acquisitions that happened in the off season, how could this team not be much improved? We have several guys that won the Stanley Cup last season and they know how to win!
