This weekend Meg and I are headed off to Asheville for a quick birthday celebration with some friends. Not only is it Meg’s birthday this weekend, it is also one of my best friend’s birthday. John and Meg were actually born on the same day just a few years apart. (That makes their birthdays easy to remember!) I am excited to seeing the town of Asheville and the surrounding mountains since I have never ventured to that area of North Carolina. I am looking forward to eating at some nice restaurants, taking in the vibrant downtown scene and having a glass of wine or two with some good friends.Who am I kidding, bring on the shots!
