I would like to wish all of my friends from the Great White North a very happy Canada Day! This day celebrates the events that occurred on July 1, 1867, when the British North America Act created the Canadian federal government. Most Canadian cities and towns celebrate the day with outdoor festivities and parades and a nice slice of ketchup cake (see my post about this on April 29th, 2009)! I hope all my Canadian friends enjoy this day by doing something outside and enjoy the nice summer weather, because for them, winter is just around the corner!

Canada Day!
