All SEC Players

Yesterday the AP-All-SEC team was announced and there were three first teamers from Athens and five second teamers. Sophomore tailback Knowshon Moreno, sophomore tackle Clint Boling and freshman wide receiver A.J. Green each earned first-team honors. While quarterback Matthew Stafford, wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi, linebacker Rennie Curran, punter Brian Mimbs and safety Reshad Jones were named to the second team.

Then today the SEC coaches named their team and there were only 6 UGA players on the two teams. Sophomore tailback Knowshon Moreno, senior receiver Mohamed Massaquoi and sophomore linebacker Rennie Curran were first team selections while junior quarterback Matthew Stafford, freshman receiver A.J. Green and senior punter Brian Mimbs represented Georgia on the second team. Moreno was one of two unanimous All-SEC selections. The other was Tennessee safety Eric Berry.
