Georgia’s A.J. Green was voted the SEC freshman of the year by the league’s coaches on Wednesday. Green led the conference with 951 yards receiving on 55 receptions. He scored eight touchdowns. The last Georgia receiver to lead the league in yards was Brice Hunter in 1994. Green was named AP first-team All-SEC and Phil Steel’s All-SEC team earlier this week. I look forward to a couple more years with A.J. making plays for the Dawgs!
