How to talk to girls

Would you take dating advice from a 9 year old? Well, Fox and Harper Collins Publishing are and they are betting you will too. They bought the rights to a 46 page, self-help book written by Alex Greven, a 9-year-old fourth grader from Colorado. The book was released in November and the Fox just picked up the movie rights. Originally Greven wrote short pamphlet, which he sold at a school book fair. He wrote the pamphlet because he noticed some of his friends were having trouble talking to girls in his class. Now after some revisions from the original pamphlet, it is now a book geared towards all ages. The deal was reported to be in the mid six figures. Not bad for a 9 year old and I am sure he won't have any trouble talking to girls now!

Here is some of the advice he gives in the book: Comb your hair and don't wear sweats; control your hyperness and cut down on sugar if necessary; a crush is like a love disease that can drive you mad; it is easy to spot pretty girls because they have big earrings, fancy dresses and all the jewelry but are like cars that need a lot of oil.

The end part of the last tip proves that he is wise beyond his years!
