Tiger back on the course!

How would you like to get the chance to play the world famous Torrey Pines golf course in San Diego? Then when your caddie arrives you realized that it is Tiger Woods! How cool is that? Well, that exact thing happened to 59-year-old John Able from West Berlin, NJ. He was the lucky winner of the “Tee Off with Tiger” sweepstakes sponsored by Buick. Tiger showed up in full caddy gear and helped John by giving him advice during his round. He would hand him his club and even clean it off after each shot. That was Tiger’s first time back to the famous course since he beat Rocco Mediate in a 19-hole playoff to win the US Open back in June. Tiger seemed to be walking fine, but they did play the round using a golf cart made to look like a Buick. Mr. Able, said it was a thrill of a lifetime and he learned a lot from Tiger during his round. I haven’t been able to find out exactly what John Able shot on that round, but it did say that he had quadruple bogey on hole 10. So I am thinking he might have done good to break 100. But no matter what he shot, I am sure it was the best round of his life. I am sure it would be for me!
Tiger’s recovery from knee surgery seems to be going well and he is still on track to get back to competitive golf at the start of the PGA season in February.
