Last Treatment Eve!

Here we are, the night before Meg’s last treatment. We have been waiting for tomorrow since July. There have been a lot of obstacles that had to be overcome to get to this point and tomorrow can’t get her fast enough. There is a chance that she might not get treatment tomorrow if her blood counts are too low. But we are hoping for the best. She is feeling relatively good the last few days.

I know she still has to go through the recovery from the treatment and we all know that is not an easy thing to do. But there is solace in know that she will not have to go back to the Cancer Center again for an infusion. She will have many more appointments there, but not for chemo! We will both be glad to put that behind us and start focusing on the next steps that need to be taken.
