Tutus for Tatas

As you probably know, October is Breast Care Awareness month and personally being touched by the horrible disease I have a special place in my heart for anyone who takes the time and effort to do any of the walks/races out there. They are all dedicated to finding a cure and are willing to walk or run long distances to raise money to go to the cure.

The 3 day walk in Atlanta is coming up the weekend of October 21st-23rd and this year a close friend of the family is walking in support of Meg. Michelle Morante is my sister’s husband’s sister and a close family friend. She will be walking the 60 miles over three days along with thousands of other brave souls. If you haven’t already donated to someone else, please take a few minutes and contribute to Michelle’s walk. She is close to her goal and I am hoping some of the readers of this blog will help push her over the top. If you can donate, please click on the link below and it will take you to Michelle’s page.

It means so much to Meg and me to see the continued support of her fight. Meg has been clean of the disease for 4 years now and is back to living her life to the fullest. But she couldn’t have done it without the help and support of all of our family and friends. Please get out and support the cause either by cheering on the walkers or by donating. It is a tough goal to walk 20 miles for three days straight! Be on the look out this weekend for Michelle and all of the other amazing people walking in the 3 day Atlanta.

Thanks and Good luck Michelle!
