The Aaron’s International Soccer Challenge takes place Wednesday at the Georgia Dome. This year the match up is between Manchester City from the English Premier League and Club America from Mexico. This is the second year for event and helps prove that Atlanta in and international sports town. Least year there were 50,000 people at the match and they are expecting about the same size crowd this year. The match is a significant effort for Atlanta to show the world it can host international soccer and help their bid to become one of the host cities for the 2018 or 2022 World Cup. There are going to be some big names on the field. Several of the players on each team recently played in the World Cup. I am looking forward to seeing an exciting game and feeling the international enthusiasm in the air!
