Georgia QB, Joe Cox was named the SEC’s Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Saturday’s 52-41 win over Arkansas. Cox was 18 of 26 passing for 375 yards with a school-record-tying five touchdowns. Also on Sunday, the Walter Camp Football Foundation named Cox the National Offensive Player of the Week. The Dawgs beat the Razorbacks in an offensive shoot out on Saturday night in Fayetteville. It was a very exciting game if you like Big 12 football, even though both of the teams are in the SEC. Georgia got the win, but it was not typical Georgia football. As much as I love the offensive explosion, I am frightened about the lack of defense. But I guess as long as we keep scoring more points, that is all that really matters. I am looking forward to seeing the offensive continue to roll and the defense pick it up this Saturday in Athens when the Dawgs face the Arizona St. Sun Devils. Kick off is set for 7pm!Go Dawgs!

Tonight proves that there is no such thing as "typical" Georgia football. This year's UGA team belongs in the Ivy League, except that they lack the Ivy League's academic credentials. God must have a special place in His heart for the Bulldogs, because He seems to always let them BARELY win these home games against big-time underdogs, while the fans trash the campus with another 70 tons (140,000 lbs.!) of trash destined for the Clarke County landfill. Yet the Dawgs insist on still being ranked! It's RANK, all right, here in Clarke County!
