Georgia opens preseason practice today!

Well, the long wait is over football is officially back and in full swing. The pro camps opened up this past weekend and the colleges are allowed to start preseason practices this week. Today is the first official fall practice for the Dawgs and Dawgnation couldn’t be more excited! This year there aren’t the pressures of being preseason #1 and no talk of a National Championship. Personally, this is the way I like it. In the past, out best seasons have been when we are not picked to win the division or the conference. This year Florida is picked to win the SEC and the National Championship. That is fine, we will take care of our business and see what happens on October 31st in Jacksonville.

Anyway, I am very excited that football is officially back and UGA’s first official practice will be today at 3:30pm. I wish I could be there, but I will be following the progress through the multiple Dawg blogs (listed on the right)! I can’t wait to see how things shake out on the depth chart in the coming weeks! There are several starting positions up for grabs and good competition will only make the team better!

Go Dawgs!
