NHL Finial!

Well, it has been a long, mostly exciting season in the NHL. My Thrashers under performed again, but that seems to be the norm. The playoffs have been exciting and fun to watch, but they will come to an end tonight. Tonight is game seven in the quest for Lord Stanley’s Cup. It is a rematch of the teams that played last year when Detroit beat Pittsburgh and so far the home team has won every game in the series. So you would think that Detroit would win the cup in back to back years, but I think that the Penguins are going to change that pattern tonight and win game 7 in Detroit. The teams are pretty evenly matched, so it could go either way, but I feel that Pittsburgh wants to avenge last year’s series and especially that last game they played in Detroit in this series where they were blown out. I am expecting a close hockey game and hoping that the Penguins come out on top. Once the game is over, there will be a short break from hockey, but keep in mind the training camps open in September!
