UGA Pro Day!

Today there will be representatives from every NFL team in Athens watching all 14 players who are eligible for the NFL draft in April. They will be weighed, measured, timed and interviewed by coaches, GM’s, and media members. This is a huge day for these guys, it will help determine where they will go in the draft and set their professional careers on track. This might be the biggest Pro day in Georgia history, mainly due to Stafford be projected as the 1st overall pick and Moreno predicted to go early in the first round as well. But there have been some big pro days in Athens. Like in 2001 when Richard Seymour, Marcus Stroud, Jonas Jennings, and Kendrell Bell all worked out. Also 2004 was a big day with David Pollack, David Greene, Reggie Brown, Fred Gibson and Thomas Davis working out for the pros. Besides Matt Stafford and Knowshon Moreno working out today, these players are looking to make a good impression on the pro scouts: Receivers Mohamed Massaquoi, Kenneth Harris and Demiko Goodman; cornerbacks Asher Allen and Ramarcus Brown; fullback Brannan Southerland; linebacker Dannell Ellerbe; defensive tackle Corvey Irvin; defensive ends Jeremy Lomax and Jarius Wynn; safety CJ Byrd; and punter Brian Mimbs.

Good luck guys and Go Dawgs!
