Heading out west!

I can’t believe it is already here, it seems like we booked it just the other day. I am referring to our trip out to Denver/Winter Park. We are going to go visit Meg’s sister and her family including the newest family member, baby Natalie. Also, we are going to be able to squeeze in a couple of days on the slopes at Winter Park. We are flying into Denver on Thursday and then driving to Winter Park later that day after visiting with baby Natalie. While in Winter Park, Meg’s sister and her family are going to come stay with us for a couple of days. Meg’s parents are already out there to see a couple of performances by the older grand daughters and will also drive up to Winter Park for a long weekend. They will help take care of Mac and Henry while Meg and I hit the slopes.

I am very excited since I haven’t snowboarded since 07 when I went on a guy’s trip to Vail. I am also excited to go to hit Winter Park and Mary Jane’s slopes. I have never been there before and heard the snow is excellent. This will be the kid’s first trip out west and their first time in real snow. They have both seen the snow that we get here in Atlanta, but that doesn’t even compare to what they are going to see in Colorado. It should be a great trip! But while I am gone, I probably won’t be posting any blogs. So look check next week for a summary on the trip!
