Meg check

This weekend was not one that Meg was looking forward to and probably would love to forget. She was in a good deal of pain and overall pretty uncomfortable, but that was manageable with the pain pills. By Saturday afternoon, she was able to move around without assistance even though there wasn’t a lot of moving around going on! By Sunday evening, she was able to walk up and down the stairs to get a change of scenery, which is something I didn’t think she would be able to do until Monday. Even though she was a little more mobile on Sunday, I think she was more uncomfortable and the pain level was a little higher. You know you are usually more sore two days after any type of body trauma and also by that time all of the residual anesthesia had worked its way out of her system. She is getting better by the day, but it is still a slow recovery. Thanks to everyone who called to check on her, sent flowers or cards, or just kept her in your thoughts. Those things really do help!
