There are two Braves players that are heading to the Bronx for the 79th MLB All-Star game held on July 15th at Yankee Stadium. Those two guys are Chipper Jones and Brain McCann. This will be the 6th All-Star game for Chipper 4 of those he was voted a starter, including this one. Even though he has been hurt lately, he still deserves the starting role for the National League. He is still leading the league in batting average with .384. Brain McCann will be making his 3rd appearance at an All-Star game. He is the first Brave to be selected as an All-Star in each of his first three full Major League seasons. Not even Hank Aaron can claim that, he got his third selection in his fourth year. The game takes place on Tuesday, July 15th at 8pm on Fox. Which I am not thrilled about! I can't stand listening to Tim McCarver announce a game. Talk about annoying!

Braves are awful. Brad
Brad, I agree they are having a tough year. But I try to stay positive, at least until the trade deadline passes. If we can get some of the guys off of the DL, things could turn around. We aren't that far behind the Philthies! We still have a chance! We need to go down to the Ted and catch a game soon.
