Tiger is out!

Well, it is official; Tiger Woods is going to need more surgery to repair the knee he had repaired in April. Apparently, he went against doctor’s orders and played in the US Open, which he won in a playoff against Rocco Mediate. He is going to miss the remainder of the season and will have to have ACL Reconstruction on his left knee. Having gone through this personally, I know that Tiger will be out for a minimum of 5-6 months after surgery doing rehab. Of course we all know that Tiger is a workout freak and he could probably be back sooner. But it seems that because of that fact, he also has a stress facture in his left tibia. That is due to his extreme rehab he did from his last knee surgery. The best thing for him to do is take his time and don’t rush things. Now is he going to miss the remainder of the PGA season including two more majors but he will also miss the Ryder Cup in September. This is really going to hurt the chances of the US team to get the cup back.

Tiger, I hope it was worth it!
