Gina’s 3Day walk

On October 24th-26th in Atlanta, the Breast Cancer 3-Day walk, which benefits Susan G. Komen for the Cure, will be taking place. There will be thousands of people walking 60 miles and camping out to raise money for breast cancer research. One of those brave people is Meg’s friend and bunko mate, Gina Gallo. Like most of us, this disease has hit home with Gina recently and she is walking in honor of several people close to her. Not only is she walking to honor Meg, but she is also walking for a co-worker, the mother of a friend and her cousin who was recently diagnosed with stage 3-breast cancer. Gina is looking to raise a minimum of $2,200 and she is well on her way. Let’s make sure she reaches that goal! Please help support Gina and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure by making a donation. It truly means a lot to Meg and myself to see gestures and sacrifices like this. As we know from Kim and Kelly’s walks last year, this is not an easy feat nor is it easy on their feet! Here is a picture of some feet that just finished the walk last year.

Gina, I hope this doesn’t happen to you! Good luck and thank you!
