That sound you hear is the rest of the PGA Tour players taking a huge sigh of relief. The reason for they feel a little less stressed is because the best player in the world, Tiger Woods, will be out for a while. On Tuesday, Tiger had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee for the second time in five years. He will be out at least four weeks. Which means that he probably won’t be in the field for The Player’s Championship and he won’t be able to defend his title at the Wachovia Championship. Tiger is targeting his return at the Memorial on May 29. According to his agent, “Tiger has been experiencing pain in his knee since the middle of last year.” I have had my share of knee problems and I feel his pain. I am sure he will come back stronger than before; he has that type of work ethic and attitude. So I look for him to come back strong and win one of the first couple of tournaments he plays in, including the US Open, which starts on June 12th.
This is the place to see my thoughts on life and the world in which I live.
