Hawks make the Playoffs

Even though the Atlanta Hawks record is below .500, 37 wins and 45 losses, they still had enough to make the Eastern Conference playoffs. I am not sure that this means the Hawks deserve it or if the Eastern Conference is just weak? Either way, they have made it and now they have a date with the No. 1 seed, Boston Celtics whose record is 66-16. Everyone knows that any team can win on any given day, also there has been a 8 seed that beat a 1 seed in the NBA playoffs before. It was last year with Golden State beating Dallas. But I don’t see that happening with the Hawks and the Celtics. The Celtics are just stacked with talent and have much more depth than the Hawks. I am not saying the Hawks won’t win a game in the series, but I am saying they are going to lose the series. I would like nothing more than to be proven wrong, but I don’t see that happening. I haven’t watched a lot of NBA games this year, but I plan on tuning in when the playoff series starts on Sunday. Again, I hope I am wrong and the Hawks shock the world and beat the Celtics in the best of 7 series. That would help ease some of the pain Atlanta sports fans have been feeling lately, but I am not holding my breath!

Go Hawks!
