It is now day 4 after Meg's last chemo treatment and things are looking good. Meg has some pretty bad bone and joint pain and is pretty tired, but that is it! The aches and pains are manageable, especially with the pain medication. So far this round has been alot easier on her than the previous two rounds of Taxotere . She has felt so good this weekend that she has gone on walks both days and has been able to get out and enjoy the great weather. That is something that never would have happened with any of the previous rounds. I hope that the worst is behind us and that there isn't a delayed reaction. She will continue to experience the bone pain because she is now going to get 5 days of Neupogen and that one of the side effects of the shots is more aches and pains. But again, that can be managed. I am so happy that she is doing well in her recovery, she is doing better than we ever imagined at this point.
This is the place to see my thoughts on life and the world in which I live.
