Last night there was another meeting between Mexico and the USA on the soccer field. This time the game was held in Houston at Reliant Flied. Mexico hasn’t won a game in the US in their last 9 tries and that winless streak continues. They didn’t lose to the US last night, but the game did end in a tie, 2-2. The US blew two leads in the game and really seemed to be outplayed by the Mexicans, much to the satisfaction of the crowd. Out of the 70,000 plus in attendance, I would say 75% were dressed in green and red and were cheering for Mexico. It was a fast paced, physical game with 32 fouls and at least 10 yellow cards given. It is always exciting to watch these two teams play, even if the game doesn’t matter. I am looking forward to the next time they meet in the Gold Cup matches.
This is the place to see my thoughts on life and the world in which I live.
