Tiger to return sooner, not later!

Well, as I predicted, Tiger will be playing in the Master’s this year. He actually will be playing before that, perhaps as early as next week. There are several sources reporting that the sex addicted adulterer will play his first PGA tournament in two weeks at the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill. But his good buddy, Mark O’Meara, is saying he wouldn’t be surprised to see him play in the Tavistock Cup next week. That is not a real PGA event, well it is sanctioned by the PGA but it is not open to the public and is only a two day event. So it really isn’t like a normal tournament. It is basically two neighborhoods in Orlando playing a club championship. Some of the best golfers in the world live in the neighborhoods of Isleworth and Lake Nona. So naturally there should be a rumble on the course each year to see which neighborhood has the best golfers. Anyway, the point is, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Tiger play. He will not have to face a ton of reporters, the fans will be respectful since they are his neighbors and he will get a chance to get some tournament like practice in before Bay Hill.

I am not surprised that Tiger is coming back. I knew he couldn’t stay away too long. Also, Tiger has hired Ari Fleischer, the former press secretary to President George W. Bush, to help take care of his PR. Once Fleischer left the White House, he started a sports communication company and will be guiding Tiger in his comeback. It will be interesting to see how Tiger is received back on the tour.
