You know when a show like Saturday Night Live does a parody on something, people are taking notice. Last Saturday, there was a skit on the show that spoofs the sport of curling. The time frame of the skit was back in the 80’s and was shown on ESPN Classic, which explains the hair do’s of the players and the announcers. The skit is pretty funny but the real joke is about the sponsors and the announcers and not the sport. The sport of curling is just a vehicle for the jokes but does show how serious the curling competitors are.
