On Friday the new Playboy Magazine will hit newsstands and this month grazing the cover will be Marge Simpson! This will be a first for both Marge and the magazine. She will have a three page spread showing her in lingerie and different stages of undress. Being a huge Simpson’s fan, I guess you can say I have been waiting on this for 20 years! Hugh Hefner had this to say about this month’s cover girl, "Marge Simpson is the quintessential girl next door who stole our hearts 20 years ago and has held them captive ever since. We were delighted to learn she wanted to grace the pages of our magazine. Her pictorial is truly stunning."
This is an attempt by Playboy to become relevant again and gain a hip, younger crowd. So far it is working! They have gotten more publicity for this cover than they have in years! The cover is a throw back to 1971 when the first black woman posed for the magazine. I guess they have been on the cutting edge ever since the first issue was released. All I can say is I am proud of Marge; the mother of four (I include Homer as one of her kids) is proving that you can still be sexy even after all of the crazy things that have happened in her life!
