Wine Review – Erath 2007 Pinot Gris (Oregon)

Just think last week it was snowing in Atlanta and now spring is in full force. The temperatures are rising and my mind turns back towards crisp and refreshing whites. The Erath 07 Pinot Gris is a fine example of a crisp and clean white wine just perfect for sunny spring day. It has aromas of apple and citrus and is a nice straw color in the glass. On the palate, you get hints of honeydew melon and some floral flavors. There is a nice balance in this wine that allows it to go well with food or alone as an aperitif. It retails for around $15 dollars and will be the perfect wine for a nice evening on the porch or back deck!

Cheers!
