It's Earth Day, and what better way to celebrate than with a glass of green wine. Wineries from around the globe are making big green strides in the vineyard, as well as the cellar, crafting wine with as little interference as possible from grape to glass. From Grgich Hills in California to Ch. de Beaucastel in France, more and more winemakers are using sustainable, organic and biodynamic practices and the results are delicious! Here are some more green wineries:
Preston of Dry Creek (California)
Bonterra Vineyards (California)
Robert Sinskey Vineyards (California)
Frog’s Leap (California)
Helena View (California)
Quivira Vineyards (California)
Sunstone Vineyards and Winery (California)
Patianna (Californa)
Persimmon Creek Vineyards (Georgia)
Richmond Plains (New Zealand)
There are many more than on this list, but I just wanted to throw out a few of my favorites. This is a huge trend in the wine industry to go organic or “Green” and more and more wineries are headed in that direction. Which is a good thing!

Also, keep in mind all of the important things that “Earth Day” stands for; recycle, carpool, conserve, and over all love your mother! Just remember, every little bit counts!
