Snow Days!

Well, on Saturday night I, when it was 60 degrees at about 8pm, I thought there was no way the local meteorologist we right when they were still predicting snow on Sunday. I just chalked it up to those guys were hoping a winter storm would happen and they were just trying to work the city into a frenzy. Even when we woke up on Sunday, it was raining and there was not a snowflake to be found. But then it just slowly changed from rain to snow right before our eyes. It was so nice to see and the kids loved it. I just wish it wasn’t so wet. That is not the best snow to play in!
I am not sure why the schools were closed in our area the roads were fine. But I guess they need to use those couple of days they have set aside for snow days. Too bad my work wasn’t closed! But for those of you, who had things closed or cancelled, enjoy the day. I wish I were in the same boat!
