The Cup is back!

What a great Ryder Cup! There was some great golf played this weekend and the American’s were able to win the cup back for the first time since 1999. The finial score was 16-1/2 to 11-1/2. But it was a lot closer than the score reflects. I few puts here and there would have changed the outcome completely. The American’s took a totally different approach to the Ryder Cup matches this year. Capitan Paul Azinger changed things up this year and these changes paid off big! He really analyzed every aspect of the week. He was calculated on his selections, the parings, the course, the crowds and it all paid off for him and the US team. The American’s jumped out to a quick lead in the first round of play on Friday and never looked back. There was some great golf this weekend and the atmosphere was nothing like a normal tournament. The crowds were loud and raucous! Just what the US team wanted. It is good to have the cup back on American Soil!

Nice job guys!
