Wine Review – 2007 Preston Sauvignon Blanc
This is not the first wine I have reviewed from Preston and I am sure it won’t me the last. Preston Vineyards is one of my favorite wineries to visit and they produce such good, yummy wines. Also, they are certified organic which makes me like them even more! Once I got the email from the winery, I went and placed my order that day. The 2007 Sauvignon Blanc is crisp and refreshing, it has a light yellow color and has aromas of grass, herbs and citrus. It is light in the mouth and with a slight sweetness to it. The finish is lean and crisp and just tastes like summer. We really enjoyed this wine and it went well with our tilapia. I am sure it would be just perfect for a shrimp dish as well as other seafood. This bottle retails from the winery at $22 and is worth every penny. Act quickly if you would like to order some from the web site, these will go fast!
