The Diamond Dawgs have picked the right time to peak! They are one win away from winning the College World Series in Omaha. They are playing in the final best of three series against the Fresno State Bulldogs and it seems that no one is picking the UGA Bulldogs to win, even though Georgia is better rested and hasn’t had to play as many games. Also don’t forget that we have the best closer in college baseball that came in last night and shut the door on the Bulldogs in the 9th. In another come from behind win, the Dawgs from Athens took the lead in the best of three and only need to win tonight or tomorrow to win the title. I personally would love to see them win it tonight and go through the entire CWS tournament undefeated. But I will be fine if they lose tonight and win it all tomorrow, just as long as we can add another National Championship to the list! First pitch tonight comes at 7pm on ESPN.Go Dawgs!
