Meg’s back in action!

Tomorrow Meg will be making her first big stride back to being the Meg from before her diagnoses. She will be running in the Race for the Cure. It is a 5k event that will go through Atlantic Station and all of the proceeds go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This will be her first race since completing her chemo treatments and it is fitting that the race will raise money and awareness for the fight against breast cancer. I am so proud of her for doing this. I don’t think she feels obligated to run this race, but she wants to run it and prove that she is now taking her life back after the disease hijacked it for a few months.

Way to go Meg!

That is SO AWESOME that she is doing the race. She is kicking cancer's butt and running it off.

What time is the race ? I may come down there.

The race starts at 8:30 and if you want to run it with her, I am sure she would love it. Race day regestration starts at 6:45. I wish I could run with her but I have to take care of the boys!
