OK, the Thrashers set two records this weekend and neither of them were good! They were beat on Saturday night by the New York Islanders by the score of 4-1. But they were out shot 49-10. That is a record for fewest shots taken in a game by a Thrashers team and a record for the lowest shots allowed by the Islanders. Those are embarrassing records to have! The Thrashers looked horrible and should be embarrassed by their efforts. They were coming off a huge win on Friday against the New Jersey Devils where they won in a shootout that went 10 rounds. That was a great game! Then they turn around and play one of the worst games of the season! They should have lost 10-1, like they did in Buffalo a few weeks ago. That game and the game on Saturday are tied for the worst efforts of the year. If they even have hopes of making the playoffs, they need to step it up and start playing consistently solid hockey! That was awful!
This is the place to see my thoughts on life and the world in which I live.
